Expedition rewards accrue as pending $MINES. Spend them on mints, fleets, contracts and fuel tax-free, or claim them to your wallet: the withdrawal tax starts at 30 % and drops 2 % for every UTC day you mine, reaching 0 % after 15 days. Claiming resets it.

A day counts once, on the first expedition you run that UTC day, across all your fleets. Spending pending rewards inside the game (mints, fleet fees, contracts, fuel) is never taxed. Collected tax stays in the reward pool.
